Introducing Julie Carpenter: Our New Controller at Our Lady of the Elms School

Our Lady of the Elms School proudly introduces Julie Carpenter as our new Controller, bringing extensive experience in nonprofit accounting and a strong commitment to financial management.

Julie's career journey includes notable educational contributions at St. Matthew Parish School, where she managed administrative duties, conducted student test score analyses, and coordinated school schedules. Transitioning back to accounting, she excelled at EMERGE Ministries Inc., implementing robust financial software systems and delivering comprehensive financial reports to executive boards.

Most recently, Julie served as Controller at IUOE Local 18, overseeing financial operations and compliance for a 501(c)(5) organization. In this capacity, she supervised a team of twelve direct reports, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with IRS and regulatory standards.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and is proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and GAAP compliance.
