Welcome Tiffany Huffman, Kindergarten Teacher

Welcome, Tiffany Huffman to Our Lady of the Elms as a Kindergarten teacher at the Lower School. Mrs. Huffman has over 19 years of experience in Pre-School through Grade 3. Most recently, she was the Director of Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten at Saint Bernadette Elementary School in Westlake and has trained many staff members on curriculum implementation and classroom management. Additionally, she has 8 years of experience as a Program Specialist and Pre-Kindergarten Teacher at Kindercare with Early Learning Initiative. 

Mrs. Huffman holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University and has completed a number of additional training courses. Over the years her classrooms have received honors for “Best Pre-Kindergarten Classroom in the Greater Cleveland Akron Area” and “Excellence in Teaching Environment and Classroom Practices”. 

When asked about her approach to the classroom, Mrs. Huffman shared, “I provide the best education possible with passion and excitement in all subject areas. I have experience in a multicultural classroom, utilizing learning centers to extend curriculum and discovery. I am really excited to become the new Kindergarten teacher at the Elms.”

Kevin Kelly, Academic Dean at Our Lady of the Elms, shares, “As the parent of a young alumnae, Mrs. Huffman has been involved in the Elms community for the past four years. I have no doubt she brings exceptional knowledge and experience to our Kindergarten program along with a built-in love for the Elms.”
